Need More Information

so a long standing bug that has more than likely has led to performance issues, is where blocks have overlapped, somehow connected to the same grid, when editing a ship, I often find myself needing to remove blocks "twice" in order to actually remove them.

and it can occur with the same or different types of blocks, and not easily fixed with large constructs that have thousand hours in

Hello, Engineer!

Thank you for reaching out to us. Unfortunately, we could not reproduce the issue. Could you please share some additional information?

  • When does this happen? What are you doing before the blocks are overlapping? Does this appear after merging grids? Are the overlapping blocks some that were removed before and new ones were placed in their place? Were you welding these blocks from projection?
  • Is this happening in a single-player game or on a server?
  • Could you please share a world where the overlapping happens? You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves. Please zip the file and attach it here.

Thank you.

Kind regard,

Keen Software House: QA Department
