Not a Bug

Hello devs. Could you please fix Programmable Block label in toolbar. I suspect that the feature is almost implemented and will not take too much time to fix because it shows the label until you exit toolbar config menu.

Hello engineer,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the forum.

Could you please confirm if you are encountering the issue when setting a label for a group of blocks or a single block? If it is related to a group, we are aware of this issue and have already reported it internally, here.

Though, if the issue is related to a single block, it appears that the world/server where you encountered the issue is modded (has active MODs) and that the block in question may also be modded. To check if the issue is related to MODs, please create a new vanilla (unmodded) world and try to reproduce the issue there. If the issue does not occur in the vanilla world, it is likely caused by the MODs.

However, if the issue persists in the vanilla world, we kindly ask you to provide a screen recording/video showing the issue, along with the log file from the time the issue occurred.

  • You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.

Kind Regards,

You are completely right. It was the MOD that causes the problem. In vanilla version everything works fine. Thank you.

Hello engineer,

Thank you for sharing the update.

We are glad to hear that the issue doesn't occur in the vanilla world. However, we regret to inform you that we do not provide support for MODs, as it is the MOD creator's responsibility to ensure their MODs are updated and compatible with the latest version of the game.

Since we are unable to provide further assistance, we will be closing this thread for now. Should you encounter any other issues, please feel free to open a new thread.

Thank you for your understanding.

Happy Engineering!

Kind Regards,

Keen Software House: QA Department
