Experimenting with AI missles using the Ai blocks, when firing from a merge block off of the main grid the Ai works and flawlessly uses the thrusters, but when an Ai controlled grid released from a subgrid of the main ship the Ai tracks but fails to utilize any thrusters installed. Missle is programmed gow I want it to work using event controllers and each controller works but when the AI takes over, it fails to utilize thrusters after being fired from a ships subgrid. No file avaliable as it should be easily replicated in any save.

Could you let us know if you encountered this issue in a modded (with active MODs) or in a vanilla/unmodded world/server? If it was in a modded world/server, we kindly ask you to create a blueprint of the affected grid, start a new vanilla/unmodded world, paste the blueprint of the grid into the unmodded world, and check if the issue persists.

If the issue still occurs in the unmodded world, please share a screen recording/video showing the issue, along with the blueprint of the affected grid (if there are specific steps to reproduce the issue in your grid, please include those steps as well).

  • You can access your blueprints files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Blueprints. Select the correct folder where your blueprint is saved (local or cloud), zip the file and attach it here.
