Since the last update Space Pirates and Economy no longer spawn on servers.


When copying the game server and running it on client offline mode they all spawn and work but soon as its on a server the only encounters to spawn are the Factorum faction. Space Pirates do not appear at all. I have been actively tracking the entities and spawns and it seems like Factorum is the only encounters that work now since the new update on servers.


I have tried creating new words, using default settings, lifting all PCU settings, increasing PCU and disabling limits, disabling and re-enabling pirates and enocunters, messing with the xml and spawn chances and all sorts, but no matter what, soon as its online on a server it does not work and only works in offline mode.

Vanilla or modded = pirates dont spawn on servers.

Thank you for reaching out to us. Unfortunately, we were not able to reproduce the issue as encounters and space pirates spawn in space for us. Could you please provide some additional info so we can reproduce this?

Is this happening from the start and no encounters are spawned (besides Factorum ones) on the server from the beginning? Or does the server need to be running for some time and the issue starts to happen after a while? Is this happening in Star System or a specific world or it doesn't matter?

Would it be possible to share a world save where the issue is happening? Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.

It was happening on a fresh created empty world and on a copied over save file to the server, everything works fine in offline and space pirates spawn like normal, but on servers they do not. The weird thing is once we copied the server file to the offline it does work, but soon as its copied back to the server it doesnt work again. The only thing that spawns are Unidentified Signals.Encounters and Random spawns and cargo ships are all turned on in both sbc files.

I have not tried to run this on the base star system yet as we ended up using a work around. We found that enabling the modular encounter mod fixes the spawning issues. So as of right now we are running this mod which has fixed everything, but once this mod is disabled they dont spawn anymore again.
