Can't properly weld projected blocks on dedicated servers
There is an issue with welding projected blocks on dedicated servers. When I start welding a projected block with a hand welder by tapping it with the welder for about a second, it will not take the single component required to build the block as if I had placed it. Instead, it will take all of the required components, making building anything off of a projector 10x more tedious than it needs to be. This happens on a locally hosted Torch server, a locally hosted official dedicated server manager server, and it even happens on a paid server provider which I am currently using. This issue happens far less on a local peer to peer world that I host while I am playing the game myself, but it does still happen rarely there to an acceptable degree.
The issue can be replicated pretty reliably with a near 100% success rate on a dedicated server, whereas on a direct peer to peer world being hosted on Steam, the issue rarely happens. I'm told by my server provider (PingPerfect) that the issue is within the game and not the hosting. Please for the love of god fix this.
Hello Ren,
Thank you for reaching out to us on the forum.
Could you please provide more details about the issue you're experiencing? Specifically, does the server where this issue occurs have any active MODs (or you have Plugin active in your game)? If so, it’s possible the issue might be related to these MODs (or Plugin). To verify this, we recommend temporarily removing MODs from the server (and the Plugin from your game) or starting a new unmodded server to check if the issue persists. If the issue does not occur on an unmodded server, it indicates that the MODs/Plugin are likely causing the issue. Please note that we do not provide support for MODs (and do not recommend using Plugins), as maintaining MODs compatibility with the game’s latest version is the responsibility of the MOD creators.
However, if the issue persists even on an unmodded server, please send us a screen recording/video showing the issue, the blueprint of the affected grid, and the log file from when the issue occurred.
Kind Regards,

The server is vanilla, and is only on experimental mode. I've linked two videos of the issue. One video shows the issue not occurring while hosting through Steam, the other shows the game with the issue occurring on a dedicated server.
I can send the server log if requested.
Locally hosted Steam vanilla world: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_k6SHpOutR3EfdjSSYlPC-YJOarV1Wzq/view?usp=sharing
Dedicated server hosted vanilla world: https://drive.google.com/file/d/19w1eGibGr0fQXYOiCSpkslW5KgnsSXeU/view?usp=sharing

Here is the blueprint file as well.

Hello Ren,
Thank you again for reporting this and for providing all the details.
To explain a bit, the behavior you're experiencing, where all components are consumed immediately when welding projected blocks with a hand welder on a Dedicated Server is due to a slight delay between your input and the server’s response. Because of that delay, a single click may register long enough for the server to interpret it as a continuous weld, causing it to consume all components at once.
In single-player, this typically works as expected, since tapping the welder usually places just the frame and consumes only a single crucial component.
That said, we understand this behavior can make projection-based building in Survival mode more tedious.
We've reported this internally for evaluation by our design team. While it’s not technically a bug, it is a limitation of how welding currently functions on Dedicated Servers.
We’ll update this thread if there are any changes or further information.
Thank you once again for taking the time to report this and for helping us improve the game.
