I have a problem with my Space engineers game

I rented a server recently and it was all going fine until approximately a week went by. I would join the server and would get "Waiting for the server to respond" then the inevitable "Server is not responding". I tried to verify game files, a fresh install, I even did a factory reset on my pc. Still the same issue. I then attempted to join a friend's hosted session and started to get an error about a version mismatch. We checked and we were both on the latest release. So I have tried everything that my friends and I could think of to no avail. I now come to you with the hopes of being able to continue my engineering endeavors.

Since the server you are experiencing issues with is managed by a third-party hosting service, we recommend contacting their support team, as the issue might be related to the server provider rather than the game itself.
Regarding the issue with joining your friend’s server, is your friend hosting their server using the same third-party service you mentioned? Is the server modded (running with active MODs)? Does either of you have any plugins or VPNs active? If MODs, plugins, or VPNs are in use, please disable/remove them temporarily and try again. If the issue persists, could you attempt to join Keen’s official servers? This will help determine if the issue is specific to your friend's server or more widespread.
