unable to hack prototech blocks
Won't Fix
I've gotten to the point that I finally was able to get a prototech block. In this case the small grid gyro. I attempted to hack the gyro and successfully removed all the parts to just before the first prototech resource (in this case Prototech Machinery). The build line was just below the hack line too. However the block did not transfer to "nobody".
I believe this is a bug in the functionality of the blocks to be hacked. Otherwise, what it the point of having a hack line on them.
I would either, move the parts that get ground down further down the list or move the computers after the large steel tubes (again in this case the SG gyro).

Hello Gemini Sierra,
To successfully hack a Prototech block, you need to bring it just below the functional level and ensure all computers it contains are removed. Once this is done, the block usually changes visually, showing the last construction stage. At that point, you can weld it back, and it should become hacked.
However, this process doesn’t always work properly, especially if the block was previously slightly damaged (e.g., if it lost 1–3 Prototech panels). In such cases, it might help to wait a while and attempt the hack again later or try after a server restart.
We are aware of this issue and understand the frustration it can cause. Please rest assured that we are looking into it and hope to resolve it in the future. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause in the meantime.
Please let us know if the recommended troubleshooting methods helped.
