Won't Fix

hello

After the update " Contact " i haven't been able to make any blueprints from any object in the game. this includes ships, building and rovers. Not only captured ships but also ships that have been brought , self-designed or altered from older blueprints.

Hello Christiaan,

Thank you for reaching out to us on our support forum.

After reviewing the log files you shared, we noticed that Cloud is enabled in your game, which could be the reason you’re unable to create new blueprints. Your Cloud storage space may already be full, leaving no room to save new blueprints.

To resolve this, try disabling Cloud storage by following these steps:

  1. Start the game and go to Options from the main menu.
  2. Navigate to Game > find the Enable Cloud option, and uncheck its box (this will disable Cloud storage).
  3. Click OK to save your settings.

With Cloud disabled, new blueprints will be saved locally on your PC. You can find these blueprints in the \AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Blueprints\local folder.

After following the above steps, start a new unmodded (vanilla) world and create a simple grid to test if you can create blueprints. If successful, try loading the modded world where you initially encountered the issue. Please note that if the blueprint issue doesn’t occur in the vanilla world but persists in the modded one, it’s possible that MODs are contributing to the issue. In that case, consider removing MODs, as MOD compatibility is the responsibility of the MOD creators because we don't provide support for MODs.

However, if you continue to experience issues creating blueprints in a vanilla world, please send us the save file for the affected vanilla world and the log file from when the issue occurred.

  • You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.
  • Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.
  • You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.

Kind Regards,
