Connecting to server porblem

Need More Information

"Peer2Peer session request.. failed.. user left" I have tried so many things to fix this

Restart game, Restart steam, Restart computer, Restart Server, Reinstall game, Check for game/steam/computer updates, turn off firewall, change timezone, total reinstall with deleting all files.

Could you please provide more details about the issue?

Since it seems that you’re hosting the server yourself, could you confirm whether you're hosting this server using the Space Engineers Dedicated Server Manager on your own device, or if you’re hosting through a third-party server hosting service?

If you're hosting on your own PC (using the SE Dedicated Server Manager), does this issue occur only when a specific player joins, or does it happen with any player who joins?

If it seems specific to a particular player, could you have them try joining your server via Direct Connect to see if this resolves the issue?

Additionally, do you or the player have an active VPN? If so, please try disabling it on both sides to see if that helps.

If your server is running MODs, could you try removing them temporarily to check if any of them might be causing this issue?

If the issue persists, please send us the complete server log file from the time the issue occurred.

  • You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineersDedicated.

Additionally, if possible, could you send/share the log file from the client/player who is trying (but failing) to join your server?

  • The player(s) can access their log files by typing %appdata% into their Windows search bar and they will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that they just need to follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers folder for the latest log file.

I'm not the host

They are using the Space Engineers Dedicated Server Manager.

I'm the only player with this issue.

I have not tried Direct Connection yet.

Neither side has VPNs.

The Issue also existed before we started modding.
