Target Locking in third person fixated on onboard crew
In large grid ships I've noticed that in third person camera mode I can't get the target locking system to look beyond my own ship. I have 2 other players onboard that are offline and sleeping in beds on the ship. I can use target locking system just fine in first person as well as in turret cameras or other cameras mounted on the ship exterior but in third person it would seem the first thing in "line of sight" are the lockable signals inside my ship itself so I'm stuck with a big green circle fixated on crew quarters and no matter which way I aim my camera/crosshair... it just refuses to look at anything else. I think we need to be able to tell the target locking system to ignore friendlies entirely, but especially it should not become fixated on things inside the ship itself lol the turrets don't face inwards
I started this topic first in the steam forums and was directed to come over here so here's a link to that thread to just incase it helps :)
