[1.205.026] Server search No world settings and no mods list

Need More Information

Press "Join Game", make advanced search with rare server settings/mods, and there is always a decent list of servers, that has broken info:

World settings: Error downloading server settings!

Mods: server has no mods! (actually they have mods)

These errors make it hard to find a server with specific settings/mods.

Thank you for reaching out to us on our forum.

The inability to retrieve server information can occur for several reasons, including synchronization issues between the game and the server, high ping, servers running a large number of mods, or the server being temporarily down. Your network speed could also contribute to this issue.

Could you please try searching for servers using the default Advanced Search settings or without too many filters? Additionally, let us know if this issue is occurring for specific servers, such as the one you're trying to access is a Torch server. Sometimes, Torch servers may experience issues that are specific to Torch and don’t usually occur on Steam or EOS servers.

Please check these possibilities and let us know if the issue persists.

My internet is good and very fast (500Mbit), I checked some servers using server monitoring sites, and they are online and with players, mods count is not a problem too.

I reset all search settings and then in Advanced Settings checked only one rare outdated/broken mod that nobody will use on their server (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=313736125, no matter exclusive or inclusive), the problem still exists.

I was able to connect only to a few of these false searched servers, after that their server/mods info updated and began showing, and they stopped appearing as false results of advanced search. But there is a list of around 20 servers, that keep appearing and are impossible to connect to.

I found a pattern: all those 20 servers have no "Experimental mode" sign in server search (I have it turned on in my settings). Maybe the solution might be to add "Experimental mode" filter in server search.
