Won't Fix

Free placement mode is activated: Press B to change placement mode. Free placement without any aligning.

Condition: Player is building

Event: Display message

Event: Remove Message

Condition: None

Thank you for reaching out. Could you please elaborate further on what is the issue here? The last sentence "Free placement without any aligning." is referring to the placement mode you are currently using, it's not referring to the mode it will be changed to when you press B, so the whole tooltip is for Free placement mode in this case.

Howdy, my problem is that when building, this tool tip never dissapears, and is always front and center as if it is the most important information the player needs to know.

even if you guys put it behind pressing tab once that would be rad, but the only way to get it to disapear is to turn off the hud completely or hold a non block item

Hello engineer,

You can hide this tooltip/hint from the HUD by following these steps:

Go to Options > Game.
Uncheck/disable the Show Control Hints option.
Click the OK button to save the changes.

After doing this, the hint/tooltip will no longer appear.
