To me most of the time nothngh happens, i select location and jump and nothingh happens. No jump, no animation, no warning of any kind, nothingh.

I need to jump by inputing distance (which is in those moronic % rather than distance) or jump to some other random spot that works. Than back to the location i want to go to. Which reminds me, i want to make a suggestion to change to distance from %.

Hello Jason,

Thank you for writing to us.

Could you please provide some additional information about the issue you've been experiencing?

Is this issue related to performing a Blind Jump, or when jumping to a Beacon/GPS location? Additionally, are you using a vanilla Jump Drive or a Prototech Jump Drive?

Please also let us know if this issue occurs in a modded or unmodded world/server. If it's happening in a modded environment or if your ship has modded blocks, could you check if the issue persists in a vanilla (unmodded) world/server as well?

If the issue continues on a vanilla setup, please share a screen recording/video showing the issue, along with the vanilla world/Dedicated Server (if you're hosting a server) save file where the issue occurred.

  • You can access your world save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves. Dedicated Server save file can be found at Roaming\SpaceEngineersDedicated\Saves folder.
  • Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.

Either, you can also send us the blueprint of your affected grid/ship as well.

  • You can access your blueprints files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Blueprints. Select the correct folder where your blueprint is saved (local or cloud), zip the file and attach it here.

Kind Regards,

Hi,

I have a mix of vanilla and Prototech jump drives. I have tried jumping with just the Prototech drive, and the others turned off, that make no difference. The same with jumping to a GPS or blind jump. I have noticed from time to time the Prototech drive uses the vanilla graphic once the drive is activated.

I do use some mods, but nothing that affect movement in the fashion. Most are to aid game play rather than add new mechanics, like Hud Compass etc... not weapons mods or things like that. All the mods I use, I have used for a long time with no issues. I generally try to keep it as vanilla as I can.

I will record it on video for you if I encounter it again. It is not a persistent bug, and does generally resolved itself after a few hours.
