lost connection to host/server cannot connect to any server

I'm having an issue, since yesterday after I got a disconnection error.


I keep getting the "lost connection to host/server. Attempting to Reconnect in...." message when I try to join literally any server and keeps in loop.


When countdown ends it tries to join world then the same message pops again.


It happens on any server; official, dedicated, modded, non modded, etc.


I tried:

* Verifying game integrity

* Deleting SpaceEngineers.cfg file

* Deleting ShaderCache folder

* Deleting the whole Space Engineers Roaming folder

* Reinstall VC Redist 2017

* Restarting Router

* Restarting Steam

* Rebooting PC

* Made sure Drivers/Windows/Steam is updated

* Reinstalled Space Engineers

Could you please let us know if you're still encountering the issue, or has it been resolved for you? If the issue persists, please try the following steps, which may help:

  1. Disable any active VPN and/or temporarily turn off your antivirus.
  2. If you're using Wi-Fi, try switching to a wired connection.
  3. Close the game and Steam completely, turn off your router, wait about 3 minutes or so, then restart your router and launch the game to check if the issue persists.

If the issue continues, please send us the log file from the time the issue occurred.

  • You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.
