When connecting to the server the world is empty

After you get in, just reload the game by pressing F5.

Can you please provide me more information?

Since you are mentioning the server of your friend, is this the only instance where you gat this problem?

You are able to connect to other server (e.g. Keen official), or start/save/load a single player game? Or are you experiencing the same problem also there? Can you please try?

So if I understand it correct, you can actually enter the server, you are just not spawned there? But when leaving, you have to exit the game manually (so no error, kick back to Main menu or crash)? Can you try to respawn (using F5 as suggested above), or Backspace (reconnect)?

I can see that you might be using multiple screens. Can you please make sure that only one screen is used when you try this?

Also please make sure that the game is using the dedicated GPU and not the integrated one.

Please try our general workarounds first, all of them:

• Verify your game files in Steam - right-click on Space Engineers in Steam Library → Properties → Installed Files → Verify Integrity of Game Files
• Delete SpaceEngineers.cfg file (it means your game configuration will be deleted) - you can access your SpaceEngineers.cfg by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.
• Delete ShaderCache folder - same access as above
• Back up your whole Space Engineers Roaming folder and delete it
• Restart Steam
• Reinstall VC Redist 2017
• Update graphic drivers
• Reinstall the game
• Make sure your operating system is fully updated

Please let me know if anything from above helped. If not, can you please reply to my questions above and send me eventually new set of logs?

Hello, thank you for taking on the solution to my problem.

Answers to questions: I tried to join different friends and got the same error. When trying to connect to other servers, the problem has not yet been observed. But I couldn’t join the official ones. The loading window did not appear. Backspace doesn't work after loading. F5 doesn't help either. I disconnected additional monitors, the problem remained The game uses a dedicated GPU rather than an integrated one.    

Perhaps the problem started here.

Unfortunately, the entire file was not saved after reinstalling the game.
