Hello, Engineer!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Could you please provide more information on this issue? The attached file seems corrupted as it cannot be opened. So if you could share again an image or video of the issue and describe it more, it would be highly appreciated.

Thank you.

Kind regards,

Greetings.

The normally 64 mb file size limit not lets me to upload the file, unless i compress it even more, what can lead to problems (i used winrar for it).

I can provide a few images about it at most.

The way i could describe it is that the low detail texture of blocks, what is supposed to trigger only when i am far away from them, replaces the full-detail texture even when i am right beside the blocks, leading to the normally high resolution skins being blurred out into usually a single color, detailess texture, or very pixelated with only edge details, in the case of sci-fi armor.

Provided two images as well, same grid, as its the most apparent on this. The entire thing supposed to have the sci-fi skin, but i added some other ones as well. Battered armor and default skin is the only one what are visible (even those go into low detail texture sometimes, its completely random, and seem to be independent of anything), with neither corrugated, carbon fiber or sci-fi being recognizable as individual skins. All of them are basically single color, blurred mess, except in a few places where they randomly appear and then go into low detail again. I assume its something about LODs triggering when they are not supposed to, replacing every other texture on large grid armor blocks.

I hope this helps, somewhat. It appeared out of nowhere so i have no idea how to reproduce it elsewhere, but it affects only this save in particular, as my other one is too new to properly test if it appears or not.

Hello, Engineer!

Thank you. Unfortunately, we were still not able to reproduce the issue. Could you please provide some additional information?

What blocks are precisely affected by this? Is it Light/Heavy Armor Block or some other particular block or multiple ones?

What graphic settings are you using?

Would it be possible to share a blueprint of affected block or world save where the issue is happening? You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves. Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link. Blueprints can be found in \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Blueprints folder. Select the correct folder where your blueprint is saved (local or cloud), zip the file and attach it here.

Thank you.
