"checking server status" can not join friends server

Need More Information

Whenever I try to join my friends server a screen flashes quickly that says "checking server status" and whenever it seems like it is actually trying to connect it it says "server failed to respond"

I have updated my drivers, verified integrity, reinstalled on 3 different drives, restarted my pc. I'm not sure what else to do.

Here is the log file from last time I tried, I have also installed every mod manually and attempted to direct connect to no avail.

I own said multiplayer server and can provide logs from the server if it will help

We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue, and we apologize for the delayed response on this thread.

Could you please let us know if you're still encountering the issue, or has it been resolved for you? If the issue persists, please try the following steps, which may help:

Disable any active VPN and/or temporarily turn off your antivirus.
If you're using Wi-Fi, try switching to a wired connection.
Close the game and Steam completely, turn off your router, wait about 3 minutes or so, then restart your router.
Additionally, please ensure that your network drivers and operating system are up to date.

Then, launch the game and first try joining Keen's official servers. If the issue doesn’t occur there, try joining another server or your friend's game. Please note that if there are MODs active on your friend's server, they could potentially be causing joining issues.

If the issue still occurs when joining our servers, please send us the latest log file from the time the issue occurred.
