Air Vent not working properly.

Rhonda shared this bug 2 months ago
Solved

I have in my ship 4 air Vents that are in separate rooms from each other. One of my Vents is basically perpetually blowing. It does indeed pump air into the small room, but it's very very slowly doing it. By slowly, I mean like 0.01% every minute or so. If I am in the room with the vent, it's even slower, and some times it drains faster than it fills.

  • No tanks are on stockpile.
  • There is 4 vents on depressurize, and they are in the airlock. So it's not sharing space with this vent.
  • Server is Keen Official, so I cannot reload or restart. However this problem has been persisting a few days.
  • No Breaks in the conveyor line.
  • No damaged or incomplete blocks in the room.
  • Lights are green showing I have a seal.
  • O2 Tanks are Full.
  • If I open my doors and use another room to fill up the O2, then it stops blowing.

Hello Rhonda,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the forum. We sincerely apologize for the delayed response to this thread.

Could you please confirm whether this issue is still occurring in the latest version of the game or if it has been resolved? If the issue persists on our official server, please send us a screen recording/video showing the issue, along with the blueprint of the affected grid/ship.

  • You can access your blueprints files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Blueprints. Select the correct folder where your blueprint is saved (local or cloud), zip the file and attach it here.

Sorry I forgot to update my post. Turns out that a angled piece of window was blocking the vent even though graphically there was nothing in the way.
