Dedicated Server - Grids depressurize and lose oxygen while loading world after server restart

irreality.net shared this bug 2 months ago
Solved

Symptoms

Issue occurs while loading world after server restart when server is overloaded and working slow.

Large grids are rendered in-progress, incomplete, with missing blocks and they lose air tightness. Oxygen is released to space and engineers with open helmets taking suffocation damage.

As soon as loading of world is finished the grids are again air tight and air vents try to pressurize them, if there is oxygen reserve.

If there is not enough oxygen available the grid stays with no/low oxygen interior - resulting in engineers death.

Expected result

Oxygen escape mechanics should not be started until grid is fully loaded.

Hello, Engineer!

Thank you for reporting the issue.

We were not able to reproduce the issue on our end. Would it be possible to share a world save where the issue is happening?

You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineersDedicated\Saves. Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a Google Drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.

Thank you very much.

Kind regard,

Hello, unfortunately I can't provide a world because it is not mine server. It also did not happen again since update to 1.205.026 b0 so I think it can be closed.
