Trouble running scripts

I can't seem to run scripts of any kind since the Update. I've tried with a clean (unmodded) world but when I click on Browse Scripts to pick one, the game hangs up and I have to Esc out. At that point I get a prompt to Save Changes even though I haven't made any. Dan2D3D suggested that I ask about this and hope for a quick fix.
The world I used was the Asteroid Armory with no mods in Creative mode. I am going to try the Red Ship scenario next per Dan's suggestion.

Could you please attach a log right after the issue first appears on an unmodded world?
Log files are located in C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers.
