Frequent crashes

Won't Fix

Hello, I'm experiencing frequent game crashes to the point where it will run about 7-10 minutes and then give up. I'm playing on a modded server and the other players on the server are not experiencing these crashes.

So far the troubleshooting steps I've taken are:

-Verify game files

-Delete SE Config file

-Delete Shader Cache

-Reduce graphics settings to Medium

-Update graphics drivers

None of the above solutions have worked, please help! Below are my PC components.

AMD Ryzen 5 5600X

16GB RAM

RTX 3070

Thank you for writing to us and we sincerely apologize for the issue you have been experiencing.

Could you please let us know if this issue began after the recent game update (version 1.205.023)?

Do you have any plugins installed in the game? If so, please try removing them and check if that resolves the issue.

If you don’t have plugins installed, could you try further lowering your graphics settings to 'Low' to see if that helps?

Additionally, have you tried playing on an unmodded server? If not, please try doing so to check if the crash occurs there as well.

If the game does not crash on an unmodded server, please try temporarily disabling your antivirus and play again on the modded server where you encountered the crash.

If you continue to experience crashes on either or both (unmodded or modded) servers, please send us the log file(s) from when the crash occurred.

  • You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.
