Contact Update - Blueprints pasting

Francesco shared this bug 12 days ago
Solved

Howdy, I'm here to report what seems a bug that occurs with blueprints.

It happens only when trying to paste blueprints which contain modded blocks not loaded in the world (e.g. blueprints from another server): usually it should spawn the blueprint without the missing blocks, but instead it shows everytime, everywhere, the alert of "selected area is occupied".

This has been reproduced multiple times on a Dedicated Server, on different instances and with different players/users.

I have some update about this issue.

Contact Update 1.205 sort of change mechanism of the copy/paste feature.

The blueprint is sort of link directly to mods.

Players must loads all mods these used in blueprint in order to paste blueprint in a new world.

If you don't load any one of those mods. It cannot be paste.

In this video, I just loads all mods these use in the blueprint. It can be paste in a new world.

Then, I remove one of mods from the setting.

It can't be paste anymore.

Basically, it is what happening now.
