Hi, the game doesn't detect my saved games and I wanted to know what to do please

I'm on a PC and the game Space Engineers stopped detecting the saved games in the folder even though they are still there and I wanted to know how to get them to detect the games again.

Could you please share more details about this issue?

Are your saved worlds located in the \AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves\[your SteamID] folder? If not, this could be the reason the game is unable to locate them. To resolve this, please follow these steps:

  1. Ensure you are in Online Mode on Steam.
  2. Launch Space Engineers > Quick Start or create a New Game > save and exit the game. This will create a new folder with your Steam ID under \AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves\ folder.
  3. You can then copy your saved worlds from another location into this newly created folder.

If your saved worlds are already in the correct folder, try the following:

  1. Copy the saved worlds folders to a different drive or folder for backup.
  2. Delete the SteamID folder in AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves, so the folder is empty.
  3. Repeat the steps above to create a new SteamID folder, and then paste your saved world folders back into this location.

Once you've done this, please check if you're able to access your old saved worlds in the game.

Can you please be more specific where exactly you are playing the game and experiencing this problem? Sorry for the confusion, but since you are mentioning PC in the initial text, and now speaking about Xbox, we would like to know where you are playing the game, experiencing this problem, on what platform/system and using which Store app.

Are you playing on PC or Xbox?

If on PC, do you own the game on Steam or you are using it through the Microsoft Windows store?

With these information, I would be able to sort this thread to the correct part of the forum.
