Game Won't Launch and Won't Crash
Need More Information
When I launch the game through Steam nothing happens. A program does start and I can see it in the Task Manager but it does nothing happens, even if I let it go all day, and I can't even kill it with the Task Manager. I get no error message from Steam or that is generated from the Event Viewer. I have tried several suggestions including deleting the config file, disabling the intro, updating video drivers, reinstalling Space Engineers and reinstalling Steam.

First, please let me ask, if the game ever worked for you on this PC? Or did you just bought it and are not able to even launch it for a first time? Or it was working in the past, on different PC or something like that?
If you are not able to quit the game manually or using Task manager, how you do actually stop it, please? Using "Stop" button on Steam, or does it need whole PC restart?
Can you please try our general workarounds, even you mentioned you did some of those before? We can than use this as a base ground for further investigation, knowing you did them all.

If nothing from this list would work for you, can you please share me a log file from the game, if there is any created?
You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.
If there won't be any log generated at all, can you please check once more the Windows Event Viewer?

The only way I have been able to stop it is by restarting my pc.
