Server has different version of the game

Won't Fix

My client has a different version than the server

The server updated to 125158593 overnight

I am on 1204018 and I cannot figure out how to make them match again

Steam is not offering an upgrade

Steamdb.info only shows Build ID 15664229, but not how to install to a client

Help please

This has been suggested as a corruption of the game on our server

Thank you for writing to us and we sincerely apologize for the delayed response to this thread.

Could you kindly confirm if you are hosting your server using a third-party hosting service? If so, the issue may be related to the hosting provider.

If you are using our Dedicated Server Manager, please note that the current server version is 1204018.

If you're using the Dedicated Serve manager, please verify its files in Steam following the below steps;

  • Right-click on Space Engineers Dedicated Server in Steam Library → Properties → Installed Files → Verify Integrity of tool Files (wait all files have been verified successfully).

Once the verification is done, launch the Dedicated Server Manager, but before starting the server, temporarily remove the active mods from your server save. After that, start the server and check if the issue persists.

If the issue continues, please send us the log file from the time the issue occurred, and we will investigate further.

  • You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineersDedicated.
