Full prefab & HTTP analytics crash
I can launch the deluxe version and it gives me two options Play Space Engineers or First release. If I choose option one the custom worlds get generated and everything seems to be working. However my computer is old so I get perhaps 1 frame per sec. When I choose the first release option the game loads however fails to create any of the world options there.
After speaking with helpful engineers on the discord server they've told me to submit this bug. I created a fresh log of the issue and it was looked over. The person I spoke with said it looked like a full prefab & http analytics crash.
I'm attaching the log and its location on my end is here :
~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/244850/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Roaming/SpaceEngineersFirst/SpaceEngineers.log
Here are some details about the computer:
Brand: Panasonic Toughbook CF-54
OS: Fedora 40 i3 Spin
RAM: 16GB
Grahpics: Internal/Integrated
I realize that playing the latest edition isn't really an option due to technical reasons. However I'm excited to see the first release version as an actual option for lower end computers. Thank you in advance for taking the time to look this over.
Hello John,
Thank you for reaching out to us, and we sincerely apologize for the delayed response.
Unfortunately, we don't provide support for the 'First Release' version of Space Engineers as it is an outdated version that is neither maintained nor managed. Additionally, your device does not meet the game's minimum system requirements, which may further contribute to the issues you are experiencing.
As there is no further assistance we can offer, we will be closing this thread for now.
Thank you for your kind understanding.
