Stuck in place

Won't Fix

When I exit my ship Large Grid cockpit, 1 out of 4 times I will get bugged. I am stuck in place. I tried respawn(F5), relog, restart computer, verify game integrity, even uninstalled and reinstall SE. The only way to get unstuck is to have team mate kill me. Any thought?

TIA

Hello William,

thank you for reaching our forum with this problem.

Can you please share more information to me on the subject?

When you say "large grid cockpit"... what exactly does that mean, please? As you know, there are multiple cockpit blocks in the game. So if you can be more specific (write me the full block name), that would help me.

You can also share me the blueprint of the affected grid, so I can try it with your exact grid in question on my side as well. You can access your blueprints files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Blueprints. Select the correct folder where your blueprint is saved (local or cloud), zip the file and attach it here.

What exactly you mean that "you are stuck"? Is your character floating on place, or floating away from the cockpit, or falling to ground, sliding away on voxels... ? Can you please show me the issue in action e.g. on video from your game?

Does this happen on grids that are used as ships, cars or also applicable on bases?

Are you able to "unstuck" yourself also for example by turning On the character's jet-pack (key <X>)? Or it is happening in game where the jet-pack is not available (turned Off in the world settings)?

Where this problem occurs to you, please? Is it in single player, in Lobby multiplayer or any other (Keen official) multiplayer server? Are there any mods active on the save/world?

Are you able to reproduce this problem also in world that contain no mods at all?

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards,
