sounds of wheeled vehicles do not work correctly
Won't Fix
quite often the game identifies my cars as a spaceship and when driving, sounds of jet engines are emitted instead of the car. The problem disappears after restarting game, occurs both with mods and with original wheels, even if there is not a single thruster on the grid.
Hello Aleksander,
thank you for reaching our forum with this problem that you are experiencing.
I have tried, but it seems that I am not experiencing the same problem as you do in my game/worlds. Can you please provide me more information?
Since you are mentioning modded wheels (thus using mods on the world), can you please confirm that this problem is also observable for you in completely new vanilla (no mods) game?
Please note that we do not provide support for mods as such. It is their creator/owner responsibility to make sure it's working fine with the current version of the game. And since you obviously had active mods on the save, it is possible that this issue was carried over from the modded wheels on the normal game ones and propagate there as well. But that would still be most likely due to the mod, if this can only observed on the single world/multiple worlds with the same mod(s).
If you can also reproduce this problem on newly started game without any mods active there, can you please share me a video of this problem happening on your side? It would also help if you can share me the save file with the grid that can be affected like that and also include some steps to reproduce, if any specific are needed.
You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.
Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.
Thank you in advance.
Kind Regards
