Concrete block skin from frostbite will randomly not apply and appear as the default skin.

Won't Fix

On large enough ships as well I found that it only applies to some parts but not others something to note is that color doesn't seem to matter as much as the location I have an example where one block works and the other doesn't that's next to it. I don't know when this bug began but it has been around for a while since it isn't the first time it happened.

Hello Eli,

thank you for reaching our forum with this problem.

However, I was not able to reproduce it on my side when tried. Can you please provide me more information how to reproduce/trigger this problem?

When you are writing "on large enough grid"... what exactly does that mean, please? It would be the best if you can share some of those grids (bases, ships) with me through the blueprints, if the problem can be reproduced in any world (without mods) even newly started/created.

You can access your blueprints files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Blueprints. Select the correct folder where your blueprint is saved (local or cloud), zip the file and attach it here.

Next, you are saying "concrete skin", but from Frostbite came (and that also looks like that on the image) the Frozen armor. Do you mean that one instead (you can check the name when in the Color picker, just hover your mouse over the skin)?

How exactly are you applying the skin, please? It is simply one by one on already existing grid, or are you using any of the commands to paint bigger location (3x3 - Ctrl, 5x5 - Shift, whole grid - holding down both Ctrl and Shift)? If you use any of these approaches to the coloring, the results are still the same and that part of the grid won't get painted at all?

If the problem is more bound to the grid being in the world for some time already, or happening on specific saves, while on other no, can you please share me the whole save file with some of these affected grids already in place?

You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.

Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.

Thank you in advance,

Kind Regards
