Directx11 issue when booting the game.
I have tried every single thing i found on the forums, and the developer told to try.
I have made sure windows was updated.
i have updated my drivers, deleted the game, re/installed, deleted my drivers after, re installed them again from the amd website, deleted the game and its folders including app data, and re installed, i have even tried on a differente hard drive.
i have downloaded the directx thing from microsoft.
i have run a directx diagnostic which told me everything was alright.
i have tried to force launch in dx9,dx11 and dx12.
i have verified the integrity of the files.
i have restarted the computer multiple times in between all this steps.
i have played other gpu heavy games, and i made sure the system was running my gpu, and not the mother boards gpu.
i might be forgetting something, but im completely lost to be honest.

Hello Engineer!
Thank you for reaching our forum with this problem that you are experiencing. We sincerely apologize for the issue you are experiencing.
How exactly did you tried and run the game under Dx9, please? Was it by using the Steam Betas; right click on SE, Properties, Betas, find the dx9-32 bit, and set it like this, or you did do it some other way?
Are you able to launch the game at all (to any stage – splash screen, intro, main menu), or the game won't start for you after clicking the "Play" button in Steam?
Please be aware that the "HRESULT: [0x80070057]" that you are having in your logs, is a hardware-related issue and like such, it usually origins from the actual PC and not from the game itself. Have you maybe tried to overclock your GPU in the past? Isn't the PC overheating? It can also come e.g. from PCI port malfunctions, your graphic card wrongly seated there etc. Here are some steps that you could try to see if any change will happen after that on your side:
Check GPU/system temps/voltages with something like HWMonitor
If temperature issues, check GPU and system fans are clean and running
Switch GPU driver settings to high-performance (i.e. not quality/high quality)
Update to the latest GPU drivers (or try clean installation)
Update your OS
If the GPU/system is over-clocked, revert to stock clock speeds
Make sure that the game/Steam is actually trying to use the dedicated graphic card. As of now, it seems that the game is trying to run only with the "Microsoft Basic Render Driver".
If the issue still occurs, try the following these workarounds as well:
Verify your game files on Steam – you said that you did that, but there is not anything wrong in doing it again just to be sure
Delete SpaceEngineers.cfg file – you are having some config file error as well in the log, so deleting this one should create new one after the game launch successfully again.
Delete ShaderCache folder
Also, try disabling all other displays except one or try to change the multi-monitor setup, is you are using that, When using ‘Extend displays’ the game does not recognize it when you move one of the displays into certain locations.
Also please try to plug out and back in all the peripheries that you are using – like even the mouse, controller, audio system/headphones, and especially "Oculus Rift S (oculus)" (if you are having it connected to your PC all the time).
Try to launch the game with the simplest setup – just the PC, one monitor, one mouse, one keyboard and that's it.
If you can launch the game, try changing the Windows Mode, from the Main Menu > Options > Display > change window mode > click OK and load new world.
If you can't launch the game change the window mode by following the below steps:
- open file “%APPDATA%\SpaceEngineers\SpaceEngineers.cfg” with Notepad and find this section (WindowMode in Key):
<item>
<Key xsi:>WindowMode</Key>
<Value xsi:>2</Value>
</item>
And replace what you have there (1,2) with 0, like this:
<item>
<Key xsi:>WindowMode</Key>
<Value xsi:>0</Value>
</item>
Save and exit Notepad and launch the game via Steam.
If the issue still occurs, kindly send us the complete and full log file.
Kind Regards,

Thank you VERY MUCH for your reply, i really appreciate it, its been so long.
"How exactly did you tried and run the game under Dx9, please? Was it by using the Steam Betas; right click on SE, Properties, Betas, find the dx9-32 bit, and set it like this, or you did do it some other way?"
R: No, i used the command on steam launcher, i cant remember which command it was tho.
Are you able to launch the game at all (to any stage – splash screen, intro, main menu), or the game won't start for you after clicking the "Play" button in Steam?
R: Nothing at all! Right after opening trough steam or the exe thing in the files, I just get an error message saying it needs a gpu that can run dx11, or the game started wrong. but my gpu and all my games run in the correct dx11/12.
Have you maybe tried to overclock your GPU in the past? Isn't the PC overheating? It can also come e.g. from PCI port malfunctions, your graphic card wrongly seated there etc. Here are some steps that you could try to see if any change will happen after that on your side:
R: Never tried to overclock the gpu/cpu. I did check to see if my gpu and pci ports where connected, and I still got the same error of the dx11. My computer had an issue where the fans died, so i connected 2 decent noctua fans in their place, and they are ON 24/7 while the pc is on, so I never have any heating issues. I am going to try your steps though, just in case I might have missed something, ill tell you later how it went, thank you for the information :D!
Update to the latest GPU drivers (or try clean installation)
Update your OS
Make sure that the game/Steam is actually trying to use the dedicated graphic card. As of now, it seems that the game is trying to run only with the "Microsoft Basic Render Driver".
R: I did all the 3 above; I deleted the drivers TWICE with DDU and re-installed them, once with the newest and another with a 6 month old version. My os is up to date. And i did check this one, i dont know if there is another of checking it or not but if so tell me.
Verify your game files on Steam – you said that you did that, but there is not anything wrong in doing it again just to be sure
R: i have done this more times than i can count xD, but i understand why you tell me it.
Delete SpaceEngineers.cfg file – you are having some config file error as well in the log, so deleting this one should create new one after the game launch successfully again.
R:I dont know why, but i dont have this file, i saw videos of people deleting them, but when i go to that folder, i cant find it for some reason. i find other files that other people seem to have, which indicates me im in the right place. but not that file...
Also please try to plug out and back in all the peripheries that you are using – like even the mouse, controller, audio system/headphones, and especially "Oculus Rift S (oculus)" (if you are having it connected to your PC all the time).
R: will try this, because i do have oculos rift s, and other devices, thank you for the tip
Try to launch the game with the simplest setup – just the PC, one monitor, one mouse, one keyboard and that's it.
R:Will try this too and give you an asnswer later! thank you :D
Ps, i cant change the config file for the windowscreen thing, because i dont even have that file has mentioned prior.
thank you so so much for at least answering my pleas for help good sir :D
