My creations are disappearing!

Won't Fix

Good afternoon, while playing I encountered the following situation:

I created a “Small Structure” in the world “Solar System”, turned off its power and moved away from it more than 6 kilometers, after which I returned back, and it disappeared.

I showed the details in the video.

Tell me what can be disabled or, on the contrary, enabled, so that the structures I created simply do not disappear.

This issue occurs regardless of whether the game is offline or online, and regardless of Experimental Mode.

Hello, Ivan,

thank you for reaching our forum with this problem that you are experiencing.

It seems that you are having setting of the Trash removal settings that are not meeting your expectations.

Can you please navigate yourself to the Trash removal menu – Alt + F10 (to open the Admin screen), Trash removal.

Please see all the setting there and try to play around with them (grid being unpowered and out of sync distance is common reason for grid get deleted by the Trash removal settings), so they are more in line with the kind of game that you want to play.

Please see my image how the menu looks and where to find it.

Please let me know if after changing these settings, you are no longer experiencing the problem and don't need any further help. If you still do, can you please provide me the save file and and the steps to reproduce leading to this state on your side?

You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.

Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.

Thank you in advance.

Kind Regards
