Won't Fix

Hello, for some time I have had freezes that happen for no reason while I play, they are very regular and happen regardless of the game mode or location, as a result the game is completely unplayable, I have already looked several solutions but nothing works. Thank you for your help, here is the configuration of my PC if this helps resolve the problem.

Thank you for writing back to us in English.

Could you kindly check if you have the correct video adapter selected by going to Options (from the Main Menu) > Display > Video Adapter? Here, the selected video adapter should be your dedicated GPU, RX 6800XT. If it's not selected, select it from the drop-down list and also select the video mode with *** (those are the recommended aspect ratios you should play with). On this same screen, also enable Vertical Sync. Save the settings by clicking OK. Restart the game if prompted. Load the world/scenario of your choice and check if the issue still persists.

If it does, while being in the world/scenario, press the ESC button, go to Options > Graphics > Quality Preset, and change it to Low or Medium, then click OK. Go back to the world and check if the issue still occurs in Low and Medium graphics settings.

If the issue persists, please send us a screen recording/video (make sure to enable World stats by pressing Shift+F11 to capture SIM speed/FPS, etc.) showing the issue, along with the log file from the time the issue occurred.

  • You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.
