Streaming bug and infinite load bug

Won't Fix

This bug has been around for TO LONG and needs to be fixed I have already done the steps to fix this issue and its constantly Happening I have Relaunched the game deleted all the files reinstalled the game verified files restarted my computer and my specs are fine for the game

this respawn bug needs to be fixed

it happens in multiplier regardless of mods when you die the streaming bug occurs where you see a black screen with the respawn selection on the side of your screen but you can walk around and hear if you leave the world when this bug occurs and try to reload it you will get stuck on a loading screen after hearing your character spawn in but you have the loading screen stuck on your face instead you also no longer can hear


this is a problem and needs to be fixed as it makes the game very hard to play and almost makes me wanna refund but i cant refund because i spent to much time in the game

Hello, Jack,

thank you for reaching our forum with this problem that you are experiencing. We are sorry that it is happening to you.

From the log you provided, I can see that the game you are using is actually pretty full of mods and scripts.

Please note that we do not provide support for mods and such. It is always the creator/owner responsibility to make sure their SW is working fine with the current game version.

Since you are writing that it is happening also in vanilla (no mods) worlds, can you please provide us log from any of those games, where you experience the same problem, but are not using mods etc. at all?

While I see that you have tried multiple of the workarounds, can you please double check that you did all that we are providing to players? These are:

  • Verify your game files in Steam – right-click on Space Engineers in Steam Library → Properties → Installed Files → Verify Integrity of Game Files
  • Delete SpaceEngineers.cfg file (it means your game configuration will be deleted) – you can access your SpaceEngineers.cfg by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.
  • Delete ShaderCache folder – same access as above
  • Back up your whole Space Engineers Roaming folder and delete it
  • Restart Steam
  • Reinstall VC Redist 2017
  • Update graphic drivers
  • Reinstall the game
  • Make sure your operating system is fully updated

Please try all of these even if you already did in the past, so we can use that knowledge as a base line for next steps if the issue will be still observable for you after performing these steps.

The provided log seems to be from the time when you were on a Lobby with many MODs/Scripts running. As mentioned in our previous response, we don't and can't provide support for MODs/Scripts, as it's the responsibility of the MODs/Scripts creators.

To check if the issue occurred because of MODs/Scripts, please join any unmodded Lobby/Server (one that has no MODs/Scripts). You can also check this by joining/playing on our official servers.

If the issue persists on an unmodded Lobby or our servers, please send us the log from the time you experienced this issue there. Please also send us a screen recording/video showing this issue when on an unmodded Lobby/Server.

well as to stated this happens with or without mods there are multiple other posts that i could link of the same problem and they are all very old 1-3 years old

Thank you for your reply.

Sadly, as both my colleagues tried to ask from you, the log from the actual non-modded world, is crucial for us to be able to see if the error is affected by the mod(s) or indeed happening as well in completely vanilla world without any mods in the very same way.

Please follow the reply of my colleagues and provide us all the files; log from same case on non-modded world, the screen-recording, etc. Plus any other information that you can possibly provide.
