Conveyor, small container and so on in the block, No connection
Need More Information
Example:
Date: 31.05.2024
Version: 1.204.018
Test in:
Experimental mode
normal survival mode
3x3 = 9 conveyors or containers,
connected together to form a block, do not pass on parts due to missing connections!
The connections are not correctly connected to all 4 connection points in the program!
We have tested all possibilities!
No chance!!!
Please fix this error. Otherwise we will unfortunately have to stop playing.
Many thanks for your efforts
Hello, Engineer,
thank you for reaching our forum with this problem.
Sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues.
Can you please provide me more information? It is actually pretty hard to image and build something out of pure text. Every possible combination that I have tried was working fine for me.
Would it be please possible to share me the affected blueprint, or better would be whole save file with that affected grid already in place.
For saves:
You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.
Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.
For blueprints:
You can access your blueprints files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Blueprints. Select the correct folder where your blueprint is saved (local or cloud), zip the file and attach it here.
Also please share me either steps to reproduce or video showing this problem from the beginning so I can follow these.
Thank you in advance.
Kind Regards

Attachment without backup files!
Hello Ondrej Borz
Thank you very much for the quick reply.
Unfortunately, I don't have time to carry out the much too complicated process for creating the blueprint.
I have attached a savegame with the vehicle before the repair attempt to this e-mail.
I will try to explain our problem to them again:
The vehicle in the picture is a mining vehicle.
In the center is the drill pipe, with 4 main pistons on the outside and 9 drill pistons on the inside, with 9 drill heads.
I will try to explain our problem to them again:

At the top of the roof, all pistons and therefore all drill bits are connected with connectors.
The problem:
The material transported upwards is not transported through all the connectors into the two pistons on the right. From there it goes down into the main container.
It worked in the beginning!
However, we had to remove the vehicle and after that it no longer worked. Then we realized that only by chance a few connectors had transported the material into the main container.
During the conversion we noticed that the connectors had no connection to each other!
The three of us tried to recreate this and tested it several times.
No chance. As soon as the connectors are placed, they only connect to another connector on a random side. We were also able to recreate this with small containers!
When dismantling the construction, you can also see that components that should actually be held by other elements fall down! So they had no connection?
Maybe this explanation and our picture of the vehicle will help you.
Best regards.
