Disappearing blocks and duplicated grid

Won't Fix

Hi,

I'm having trouble with armor blocks disappearing from my space station every now and then. Some time ago I did some research and in the list of grids I found out that I have the same station from which the blocks disappear twice, the first one that I know is located where it should be and the second one that is located in the middle of the planet in the texture. I think it has to do something with those disappearing blocks.

Thank you for writing to us, and we sincerely apologize for the issue you have been experiencing.

Could you kindly provide further information about this issue?

Did you experience this issue in Single Player mode, Lobby, or on a Dedicated Server (DS)?

Was the world/server modded (with active MODs/Scripts)? If so, it's quite possible the issue could be occurring because of MODs/Scripts. To check this, please make a blueprint of your space station and paste it into a vanilla world (with no active MODs/Scripts). Then, check if the issue still persists. If it does, please send us a screen recording/video showing the issue, the vanilla world save file, and the log file from the time this issue occurred.

  • You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.
  • Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a Google Drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.
  • You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.
