Need More Information

The game has run into an exception where it attempts to remove a presumably destroyed entity but runs into a memory error. It happened right after a player left the game and near voxel, see the problem in the provided logs.

Hello, Engineer!

Thank you for writing to us, and we sincerely apologize for the issue you have experienced.

Unfortunately, we weren't able to reproduce this issue on our end.

Could you kindly help us by sharing further information? Was the destroyed grid owned by the player who left the game, or was it owned by nobody?

If you have a backup save available from before the server crash, could you load that backup and start your Dedicated Server without these launch options (-noconsole -checkAlive -ignorelastsession) that we noticed in the log file?

Once the Dedicated Server is up, join the server and try to remove the destroyed ship again. If the issue still occurs, please send us the latest log file and the server save.

  • You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineersDedicated\Saves
  • Please zip the save file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.

Kind Regards,

Keen Software House: QA Department

The grid was owned by the player who left the game, however i have no idea how to disable those launch options.
