Jump drive FOV bug with magnetically attached grid
Participating in a blind jump in a separate grid which was loosely connected by a connector (yellow status, soft capture only) resulted in an unusable field of view and the inability to use cameras.
Steps to replicate:
- Detach a connected grid from a grid that has a jump drive.
- Allow the connector to go from cyan to yellow, soft-capturing the separate grid with magnetic forces (it can still move independently)
- Sit in the grid with the jump drive and initiate a blind jump (5km)
- Leave the controller, and walk to the separate grid and sit in it (within 10 seconds of initiating jump)
- Wait for the jump
Expected result: Jump effect visible. Grid with jump drive completes jump, leaving the separate grid behind with the player sat in it. No change to FOV.
Actual result: Jump effect visible. FOV changes as grid with jump drive completes jump. FOV does not return to normal. Separate grid with seated player is indeed left behind, but player can't see properly and cameras can't be used.
Quitting the game and reloading / re-joining makes everything return to normal.

Hello, Engineer.
Sorry to hear you're experiencing issues.
Could you please tell us if the issue is present in Multiplayer, Single Player or both? If it's present in Single Player, could you share a world save? If it's present in Multiplayer, could you share blueprints of both grids instead?
Kind Regards
