Event Controller Block incorrect trigger

Keen Software User shared this bug 5 months ago
Won't Fix

Latest PC version with all DLCs

1. Event Controller set to trigger on Merge Block Connect

2. Multiple Merge Blocks selected

3. AND gate selected

4. A Timer Trigger Now action is put in Slot 2

Expectation is when all Merge Blocks are unmerged to trigger the timer. This works, but the Event Controller triggers Slot 2 when one of the Merge Blocks is merged.

Hello, engineer!

Thank you for writing to us.

The issue you described appears to be similar to the one reported in this thread. However, if your issue is different, could you please provide us with more details?

Did you experience the issue in a modded world/server (has active MODs)? If so, could you kindly create a new vanilla world (has no active MODS/Scripts) and check if the issue occurred there as well? If not the issue might have occurred due to MODs.

If the issue persists in the vanilla world as well, kindly send us a screen recording/video showing the issue, and the vanilla world save or a blueprint of the grid where you experienced this issue.

  • You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.
  • Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a Google Drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.
  • You can access your blueprints files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Blueprints. Select the correct folder where your blueprint is saved (local or cloud), zip the file, and attach it here.

Kind Regards,
