Could you kindly confirm on which platform are you playing Space Engineers? Is it Steam/Xbox/Windows Store/PlayStation? This information will help us to lead you to our specific QA team.

Hello, Antoni!

Thank you for writing to us, and we sincerely apologize for the issue you have been experiencing.

Did you happen to reinstall your OS or clean install the game or Steam recently without backing up your game data? If so, unfortunately, you might have deleted all of your game data, including saved files and blueprints.

If that is not the case, kindly check if you can find your worlds' saved files in the \AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves (there should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves) and Blueprints in the \AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Blueprints (check if the blueprints can be found in the local or cloud folders there)?

If the files are there in these folders, please try the following steps that could resolve this issue;

Verify your game files on Steam

  • Right-click on Space Engineers in Steam Library → Properties → Installed Files → Verify Integrity of Game Files

Delete SpaceEngineers.cfg file

  • It means your game configuration will be deleted
  • You can access your SpaceEngineers.cfg by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.

Delete ShaderCache folder

  • Same access as SpaceEngineers.cfg

Once done, launch the game via Steam. If the issue persists or the world save or blueprint files are missing from the above mentioned folders, try to create a new world or blueprint and check if they are getting saved in their respective folders or not.

Kind Regards,
