Need More Information

YouTube

I expected you spend additional 20 seconds to copy/paste it to translator just like me recording video and uploading it to youtube, but fine

Rooms randomly lose their airtightness

For some reason, previously airtight rooms cease to be so. Usually, either the room itself ceases to be airtight for no reason, or a door opens to another “leaky” room, and the breakdown seems to spread. It’s as if this doesn’t happen in rooms with a small number of different blocks, but if you add a bunch of different ones, then something breaks. As the session progresses, it can be repaired and broken again.

This has never happened before in slightly distant rooms with a simpler interior. In another save, in a built space station (not in voxels), the same problem occurs, as if also in rooms with cryocapsules and a medical station (not sure). Sometimes ventilation doesn’t even care if airtightness breaks and it begins to mercilessly empty all the air reserves in the tanks, filling the room by 0.01% per second.

Building new micro-rooms of armor around the ventilation inside the rooms (for the sake of experiment) also does not change anything. Completely remodeling the room doesn't solve the problem either.

YouTube

In the video, the room is already broken, but at some point it fixes itself and the fan lights up green. And to break it again, I open the door to the room with cryocapsules. Afterwards the world reboots and everything starts working as it should. In the process I run around and inside a little to show that there are no holes anywhere.

Hello, Zickusable!

Thank you for writing to us again

From the video you shared it seems there are MODs/Scripts active in the world where you have experienced this issue, and it is quite possible the issue is occurring because of any MODs or Scripts active in the world. Please note we don't and can't provide support for MODs/Scripts as it is a MOD/Script creator's responsibility to keep their MODs/Scripts compatible with the game's latest version.

To confirm if the issue is occurring because of MODs/Scripts, please make a blueprint of the affected grid and paste it into a new/fresh vanilla world that has no active MODs/Scripts.

If the issue still persists in the vanilla world, kindly send us a screen recording/video showing the issue, along with the vanilla world save file where you have experienced this issue and the log file from the time this issue occurred.

  • You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.
  • Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a Google Drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.
  • You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.
