Strange error report

Won't Fix

Dear Sir or Madame,

every time I load my world (single player, creative) parts of this docked Small Ship you see on the picture are missing, like antennas Cockpit, Thrusters and more. On every new load, more parts are missing and I don’t get a clue and it is only the front part. Mid and aft sections are still intact. And the error is only on this Small Ship the Hangar and the Mothership are operational without any missing parts.

Thanks for taking time for my issue.

Regards,

Alexander Meissner

Hello, UnknownEntry,

thank you for reaching our forum with this problem.

Can you please provide me more information?

Are you experiencing this problem only in this one affected save file? And this issue is happening with only this one particular grid?

Is this affected grid affected also only in this one world?

Can you please try to do a blueprint (Ctrl + B) of this grid and paste it into another/new world? Is the problem reproducible there as well?

You are writing that you are playing in the Creative mode, but I need to ask anyway... were all the parts properly connected and welded fully? Is it e.g. a blueprint that you are using through the Projector block?

Do these parts ever "go back" on the otherwise finished model, or once they are missing, they are gone for good and you need to build them back manually once again?

Are there any mods on the save? Or modded blocks on the affected save? If so, can this issue be observed the same when using the vanilla blocks on the non-modded world?

Please provide me the affected save file and it would be great help if you would be able to write me a steps to reproduced so I can follow them.

You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.

Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.

Thank you in advance.

Kind Regards
