World is only space and asteroids if my friend doesn't reload after I join.

If I try to join my friend's server, he has to reload so I can see blueprints and planets. I can only see the sun and asteroids.
He's already changed the Hubblegum Skybox to a milky way skybox, and it still happens.

Can you please provide me more information?
First of all – you are mentioning skybox mods, right? Please note that we do not support mods, only the vanilla (no mods game). It is the mod creator/owner responsibility to make sure it is working with this current game version.
Are you experiencing the same behavior even on world without any mods at all? Can you please try?
On what game mods are you trying to join/play together? Is it in Lobby mode, or the server is running as dedicated server? Are both of you clients, or the friend is host/admin of the server?
The friend can join to the world without any issues and is able to see the skybox properly, spawn and play there?
