Hello CornDogPlays,

I am sorry to hear you are experiencing issues when trying to connect to your friend´s server. Has this happened after a particular action like for example a game update or operating system update? Are you using any mods or plugins or VPN?

Can you please share your log files with me from the time you tried to join your friend´s server? Please include both your logs and your friend´s logs.

- You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.

You can also try the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Check Your Internet Connection: Ensure that all players have stable internet connections. Sometimes, a simple internet hiccup can disrupt the connection.
  2. Verify Game Files: Right click on Space Engineers in Steam Library → Properties → Installed Files → Verify Integrity of Game Files
  3. Update Game and Mods: Ensure both the game and any mods you are using are up-to-date. Outdated mods can cause compatibility issues.
  4. Restart Steam and Game: Sometimes, Steam or the game client itself might have issues. Restart both Steam and Space Engineers and see if the problem persists.
  5. VPN: If you are using a VPN, try disabling it. VPNs can sometimes interfere with game connections.

Please let me know if any of the above helped.

Thank you in advance.
