Unmineable chuck of rock
First time player,
I'm playing the "Lone Survivor" start, and there's a chunk of what looks like ore on the starting rock that doesn't do anything when I mine it.
It previously got highlighted as Silver, but it doesn't anymore. It drops no chunks when I break it with a hand drill, and going into creative to mine it via ship doesn't collect anything.
When I try to mine it, the mining sound effect doesn't even play, it just flashes yellow and the rock gets smaller. Spawning in raw silver ore via creative mines correctly.
As for mods, I have the colorful icons, color hud, paint tool, and welder eyestrain reduction

Our programmers have examined your world save. I have a couple more additional questions regarding the problem you reported.
Have you been using other mods or plugins that you then deactivated?
Have you been using voxel hands?
Can you replicate this in a new vanilla world save?
