Solved

I am having some issues with the game crashing when I fire a guided missile at a ship. Once it hits the game crashes. It happens everytime.

It is ships form the workshop that I am using when it happens i just cant seem to figure out why.

this is one of the ships that does it: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2757761773&searchtext=tanto

Hello, Jeremy Teets,

I am sorry you are experiencing this issue. I wanted to test out if the crash would happen for me as well, however the build needs some scripts to fire the missiles. I cannot test the behavior with the scripts as we do not offer support for them. Same goes for mods.

The blueprint description is recommending only a few scripts to run. I have noticed that you are using more of them in your world save and also some mods. These can be causing conflicts between each other. I would suggest you to create a new world save and only use the scripts that the build needs and no mods. You can test the behavior again and if you are experiencing the crash as well, please contact the creators/owners of them as they need to make sure that their scripts are compatible with the current version of the game.

From the log you shared with me, the crash is happening due to a conflict in the programmable block likely caused by the scripts. If you are experiencing a crash in vanilla game, please let me know.

Also please let me know if removing the non essential scripts and mods helped to resolve the issue.

Thank you in advance.

I think I figured it out. I believe it was a mod i was using: that was the undo mod. I cycled out all of the mods I was using one by one and when i got rid of that one it no longer has the issue.

thank you so very much for your help it is greatly apreciated!

Hello, Jeremy Teets,

I am very happy to hear that you managed to figure out which mod was causing the issue. I will close this thread as solved, since there is no assistance from me needed anymore.

You are welcome and happy engineering!
