Space Engineers Ore

Won't Fix

Hello

I’m doing a Moon start in home system. I deleted the last game that did this but it happened again. While on the surface of the moon I have no trouble mining stone, iron, silicon, magnesium, nickel, silver …. I have yet to locate a gold deposit but when I find a uranium or platinum deposit on the ground and go up to it all it does is shrink when I drill on it but it won’t give me any ore whatsoever. This is very frustrating and a monumental waste of time on my part if I can’t squire those resources. Can you assist me or explain why it’s happening? Please help before I delete a game I really enjoy!!!

Hello, Michael LaPradd,

I am sorry you are experiencing this issue. Unfortunately, I was not able to reproduce it. Could you share your world save with me please?

  • You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.
  • Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.

If possible please save the game on spot where the uranium or platinum is located and you are not able to mine it.

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards,
