Space Engineers Failure to launch
So I have to following problem: everytime I try to launch Space Engineers, I get a white screen with two error windows:
The first one says: "graphics device driver has crashed. Your card is probably overheating or driver is malfunctioning. Please update your graphics card drivers and remove any overclocking"
and the 2nd one says "This problem is caused due to the lack of video memory of the system..."
I already tried to: restart, launch as admin, install and update the graphics driver, disabled the steam overlay, tried an older version of he game, put the process priority in the task manager to "high" and installed VC_Redist and dotnet-sdk as some other forums suggested. I also deinstalled the game completly (deleted all files) and re-downloaded it.
I also was in contact with your community managers on steam which were trying to help but it was not successful.
What are your suggestions? This game has worked flawlessly in the past and I have more than enough RAM (24GB). I am playing on a RTX 1050. I will link the crash log for a better understanding: https://pastebin.com/n01fZVH4

Hello, Nic R.,
I am sorry you are experiencing this issue. Can you please check if the game is running on your dedicated graphic card? Your laptop could be trying to use the Intel(R) HD Graphics 630 card, but you need the other one (GTX 1050).
The reason this could be happening is because of your power settings. So please try to launch the game when the laptop is powered with a charger. If it helps then it could indicate a problem with your battery.
Please let me know if it helped.
Thank you in advance.
Kind regards,

Dear KeenSWH Support Team,
thank you for your reply. I already tried switching the graphics cards via the NVIDIA system settings and that did not work. Now, however I disabled the Intel(R) HD Graphics 630 card in the device manager and now Space Engineers works perfectly fine. So the issue was most likely that the game did not recognise my GTX 1050.
Thank you very much for your help and have a nice weekend!
Best Regards,
