I have tried redownloading, reinstalling VC Redist 2017, deleting the ShaderCache folder and .cfg file. i have also reinstalled windows and reinstalled all my drivers, any help would be appreciated.
I have also tried deleting the whole Space Engineers Roaming folder... still crashes...

Hello, Jonathan,
thank you for writing to us about the issue that you are experiencing.
However, there is nothing to see in the logs. No error, exception, nothing.
There might be couple of different reasons for this.
The game is not supporting Win 11 as such, while it works just fine in most of the cases.
First of all, you can try to download this: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35 It contains fixes which could help you out with your problem. There are some changes that Microsoft did in Win 11 with DirectX. This should fix it.
You can also try to re-install the game on C drive.
If this won't help you, the absence of any error in the log, might also be due to Kernelbase.
You can double check by running an Windows Event Viewer and see if you can find there error about this (kernelbase.dll).
You can find how to here:
https://www.spaceengineersgame.com/troubleshooting/game-will-not-start-issues/
If that would be the case, we have another set of possible workarounds that you might want to try:
- Run as a different user (a corrupt Windows user profile is a common source of this error)
- Add -skipintro into the game launch options in Steam
- Rename / Delete "\Steam\SteamApps\common\SpaceEngineers\Content\Videos" folder
- Delete this directory: \AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Promo
Please let me know if any of these will help you.
If not, would it be possible to send me new set of logs, please? It would be best if you can send me all three – SpaceEngineers one, VRage one (can be found on the same place) and the one from Event Viewer.
Thank you.
Kind Regards
