My items keep disappearing when I leave my game

Won't Fix

So I am on a private single player world and I log off and get back on ~3 hours later and all my stuff I had on my character is gone. This has happened several times even when I am in a cryo chamber.

Could you kindly share further information concerning this issue?

Did the world have MODs (or has a Plugin active in the game) when you experienced this issue? If so, it is quite possible you experienced this issue because of MODs or Plugins. Unfortunately, we don't and cannot provide support for MODs because there are thousands of them, and it is the MOD creator's responsibility to keep their MODs updated according to the game.

Could you please check if the issue occurs in the vanilla world (with no active MODs or Plugins)?

If the issue persists in a vanilla world, kindly send us a screen recording/video as the issue happens on your end. Additionally, include the world save file where the issue occurred and the log file from the time you experienced this issue.

  • You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.
  • Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.
  • You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.
