Game Save won't load past 1%

Won't Fix

We had a power surge during our latest session. Neither the game save nor back-ups will load. It told us to check our logs. We did, but had no luck in determining what the issue could be. If you could help save our game, I'd REAAALLY appreciate it!

-I tried verifying

-Other game saves and new game creations work

-I tried deleting the cfg file, but had no luck

I am sorry you are experiencing this issue. Can you please provide me with more information?


Were you using any mods or scripts? Was the save functioning normally before the power surge? Were you playing in a lobby or on a dedicated server?


Can you please send me your latest log from the time you tried to connect?


You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.


Can you also send me your save file? I am not sure if the the Steam link you provided was meant for the save but it only takes me to the home page.

thank you for the save and log files. I managed to launch and save the latest backup of your save file. I am not sure if it is what you need but unfortunately the main save is corrupted.


I am attaching it here.
